This gorgeous and functional piece anchors any room.  Though I am a designer who uses quite a bit of wood in my furniture, sometimes it isn’t the best material for the job.  Made out of woven mylar-kevlar fabric used largely for sailboat racing, this divider spans the space without weighing it down.

It folds, it stands on end for easy storage, and there are no tools required for opening or closing this batwing-inspired room divider.  When light shines through, the fabric dulls it to a subtle glow.  This is some seriously sexy sailcloth.  Use it to create dressing rooms, semi-private offices, or to catch some wind and escape.
