Why hide what’s beautiful?  This coffee table’s slender legs wanted to runthrough the tabletop, crossing each other gracefully.  It has the maple tabletop looking a bit distressed!  Don’t worry, that’s an intentional aged effect topped with a durable sealed finish.

When the frame is this beautiful, why hide it?  Here, it’s a prominent component not only of the construction, but of the visual result.  There’s an openness and clarity to the fabrication that I enjoyed creating.
