Of all the trusses I’ve enjoyed making over the past few years, this one is the biggest homage to architecture. With geometric steel girders for legs, it’s like pulling a skyscraper up to the counter. The gemlike folded reinforced steel seat is another way of incorporating mathematic forms into the design.
