What has three legs but four feet? Well, this stool does, actually. Distorted truss legs contain unique joints—it’s a skeletal frame propping up a handsome carved maple seat. The points near the bottom of two legs are not only stylish, but functional—they act as integrated foot rests. It’s always exciting for me to create such intricate 3-D shapes from thin, 2-D line-like rods; in fact, it’s a bit like solving a riddle.
